This boy is a dream come true for me to own. Detour's pedigree is absolutely jam-packed with exceptional mammaries and overall conformation. Within 3 generations, Detour's pedigree cites four ADGA National champion does. We hope that Detour will stamp his daughters with the consistently balanced, high, well-attached udders from both sides of his pedigree. Detour was commended at his first show for having the strongest front end in his class of yearling bucks.

Detour's sire, Corixid, is out of Dust Bunny, who was 2nd place and 2nd udder in the 3 year old class at 2018 Nationals. Dust Bunny has been an ELITE list doe for four consecutive years (2017-2020). Corixid's sire, Agape's Prize Axl Rose CQ is sired by Cyrus Quinn, a half-brother to our buck, Templeton, and was Get of Sire at the 2017 Nationals and Premier Sire at the 2018 National show and his dam is 2018 National Champion and Reserve National Best Udder doe, CH Wood Bridge Farm Scarlet Rose.

 

Roxanne, Detour's dam, has that powerful, refined dairy look that I strive for with a nice long and level rump that I hope he will add to his daughters. Roxanne was intended to be a 2019 Spotlight Sale kid but was pulled from the sale due to an injury to her eyelid. 

 

Roxanne's dam, Shy Elk, is another doe I just can't get enough of. Shy Elk is best known for her 2018 Reserve National Champion win but she was also 1st Place and 1st Udder as a 4-year-old in 2017 and 1st Place 7-and-older Doe at the 2022 Nationals.

 

Roxanne's sire, Understated, sired the 2018 Colorama sale kid and is out of the only 2x National Champion doe, Wood Bridge Farm Belladonna and is sired by ANDDA All American 2-year-old buck, Wood Bridge Farm Apache Wind.
