Shady was bred by my friend and mentor, Stacy Self. He is a combination of two of her best foundation does and he carries a LOT of production behind him through both his sire and dam's dams.
Shady's sire, Al, stamped his daughters with his signature soft, pliable dairy skin and width. Al was a multiple Grand Champion buck who took Best in Show Buck at Michigan's Udder Side Dairy Goat Show in 2017. His dam, Rosie, has a beautifully well-balanced, and capacious udder.

Shady's dam, Windy, is backed by very strong Sugar Moon dam lines and carries the consistency of those udders. She is long and dairy and showed very well as a junior doe, taking two reserves and received her Grand Champion leg at her first show in 2017. Her two daughters retained by Hundeholz, full sisters to Shady, Walla and Tsunami, are maturing very nicely.

We will be using Shady for our 2021 and 2022 breeding seasons to do some line breeding on Sugar Moon Bryony and Sugar Moon Cher Amia to keep that consistent heavy production in our genetic pool as we expand outwards in our first few years of breeding.
